A core to last
Healthcare IPS features a unique core which is compressed PVC. It is made up using closed cell technology – that’s millions of minute bubbles bound together to form the core. This means there’s absolutely no room for water to penetrate our integrated plumbing systems.
HIPS core means both the hygienic cladding surface and core is 100% waterproof, no rot or water damage ever and also provides superior rigidity & durability.
This innovative material now provides all the benefits of solid grade laminate (SGL) & more traditional cores for IPS but at the fraction of the weight, price tag & difficulties modifying.
Patient Safety
Following a notification sent throughout healthcare estates in 2018, heavy lift off panels with plastic push on or keku clips were banished on IPS units.
All Healthcare IPS units are installed with durable, zinc plated hinged door access.
No lift off panels means no joints, the perfectly smooth hygienic cladding means cleaning protocols have never been easier to adhere to.
Healthcare IPS ranges are tested to the highest standards of hygiene & durability, complying entirely with Health Technical Memoranda 68 (HTM 68).
