Healthcare IPS were delighted to play a small part in the refurbishment of this sexual assault referral centre in the Midlands.

Such centres offer medical, practical, and emotional support with specially trained NHS doctors, nurses and support workers to care for the patients.

We were delighted to assist from the design stage through to fulfilment, the refurbishment was vital to provide a modern, hygienic, and practical space where patients could feel supported.

Bespoke offering and the fluid approach of the team

Minimising ligature points was a requirement with the Healthcare IPS offering viewed as the ideal system. The main reason for this was the uniquely seamlessly welded full wall units, meaning no joints required as standard. Ligature points on the access doors were also limited, and high secure locks fitted as per Architect specification. We take great pride in treating every healthcare scheme as a standalone and due to the bespoke nature of our offering and the fluid approach of the team, we are able to tailor the system to be suitable for the individual environment and the particular challenges.

The full Healthcare IPS range is HBN 00-10 compliant and has been developed from the HTM68 Guidelines to fully meet current standards. With extensive CAD support to assist with design, the units were signed off and on site in a couple of weeks, pre drilled ready to accept the sanitary ware. In this instance, Wallgate and Twyford as specified by the client and subtle baby blue was the chosen colour, providing a calming yet warm feel to the room whilst not neglecting hygiene and practicality.
